Royal Ariston is a five-star hotel inside the larger Royal Dubrovnik Resort in Babin Kuk. Guests stay in the Ariston building but share the resort's beaches, pools, spa facilities, fitness centre and restaurants with the neighbouring Royal hotels.
The Old Town is 4.9 km away, while the resort's beach area is only a few metres from the hotel. Sea views depend on room category, so it is worth checking the exact room before booking.

Royal Ariston is on Kardinala Stepinca 31, at the western end of the Lapad Peninsula. The resort currently gives the distance to Dubrovnik Old Town as 4.9 km, Dubrovnik Airport as 24 km and the Lapad Bay boardwalk as 900 metres.
A bus stop is less than 300 metres from the main resort entrance. Libertas bus 6 runs towards Pile, just outside the Old Town, roughly every 10-15 minutes.

The current Royal Ariston website highlights four main accommodation categories. Sea view is not automatic: the standard Luxury Room with Balcony does not carry a sea-view guarantee, while the dedicated sea-view room and suite categories do.

Complimentary cots are available on request. The Triple Room is useful for three adults, while the Sea View Suite is the largest of the standard categories currently shown on the hotel's main accommodation pages.
Shared Royal Dubrovnik Resort facilities
One of the main advantages of staying at Royal Ariston is access to the wider Royal Dubrovnik Resort. These are shared facilities across the complex rather than amenities located entirely inside the Ariston building.
The current resort setup includes seven outdoor pools and two indoor pools. One of the outdoor pools is for children.
Beach and waterfront
Guests at Royal Ariston can use the Royal resort's beach areas, which currently hold Blue Flag status. Sun loungers, umbrellas and beach towels are included for hotel guests, subject to availability.
The waterfront is a mix of rocky and prepared bathing areas rather than a broad sandy beach. The resort promenade links the Royal hotels, pools, restaurants and beach zones.
Royal SPA, Ariston SPA and fitness
The resort has two spa areas: Royal SPA and Ariston SPA. Ariston SPA is designated adults-only by the resort, while Royal SPA provides an additional wellness option within the complex.
Shared wellness facilities include Finnish sauna, steam bath, relaxation areas, indoor pools and treatment rooms. The fitness centre is on the ground level of the Royal Ariston and Neptun buildings.
Restaurants across the resort
Dining is spread across Royal Dubrovnik Resort rather than confined to the Ariston building. Current resort venues include:
- Royal Terrace, the main buffet restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner.
- Crown Grill House, focused on grilled meat, seafood and seasonal dishes.
- Sunset Restaurant, an à la carte restaurant overlooking the Adriatic.
- Restaurant Vista, used for breakfast and all-day dining.
Other bars and casual venues operate around the resort, and opening schedules can vary by season.

Royal Ariston is family-friendly. Cots are available on request, the resort has a dedicated children's pool, and larger room categories can accommodate more than two guests.
