Kazbek is on Lapadska Obala, on the Lapad side of Gruž Bay. Dubrovnik Old Town is around 3 km away, while the ferry port and main bus station are nearby across the bay in Gruž.
The waterfront setting is residential and much quieter than the Old Town. It also gives easy access to the Lapad promenade, restaurants and the harbour area.
The 1573 summer residence
Kazbek was built in 1573 as a summer residence for the Dubrovnik noble Zamanja family. The stone villa was later restored with the involvement of Dubrovnik conservation authorities and now keeps much of its original scale and layout.
With only 13 accommodation units, the building still feels closer to a private villa than a conventional hotel.

The loft rooms have more architectural character but also smaller windows and more limited views. If natural light and outlook matter, the Superior or Deluxe rooms are the safer choice.
Pool, Jacuzzi and sauna
The hotel has a heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi in the garden, with sun loungers around the water. There is also a sauna for hotel guests.
Kazbek does not have its own beach, so this is more a pool-and-courtyard stay than a seaside resort.
Restaurant and terraces
The Kazbek Restaurant is on the ground floor of the historic villa and is open from 07:00 to 23:00, with last orders at 22:00. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:00.
Dining extends beyond the main restaurant:

- The Balcony overlooks Gruž Bay and the marina and serves drinks, light dishes and snacks.

Full-property use is aimed at small groups rather than large events, which suits the scale of the villa.
