Last year I visited Croatia, and stayed for 7 Week's. I didn't cary cash because on previous visit's I found very convinient to use my debit card. Before my trip I deposited money in my bank account to be spent on my trip and dodn't have any problem to use ATM all along coast. One advantage was, they didn't carge me any commision for currency exchange. What card to use is usualy displayed on ATM.However I did cary some cash just in case I will be somwhere where was no ATM.Their Currency is Kuna (Kn) and current exchange rate is just about $1=5.4 Kh
Have a nice trip, and let us know how was it. I loved it.

The english version is available at: Dubrovnik Summer Festival

It should be possible to book tickets online, probably when the final program has been published.

I cant understand the language. Is there a site that are english so that I could be able to have more information of it because I'm interested of the place? Thanks.

dubrovnik old town is a beautiful place to see, loads of photo opportunities and very interesting architecture.it is historically blessed and has been very well restored after the conflict unfortunately that is where it ends!the price of food and drink is a total rip off, soft drinks and alchohol.the whole place is geared for the cruise ship passegers to be fleeced.my advice is to spend a day there and then get out.i reccomend a visid to lapad beach and area. tha place is great and half the price for food(that is of a far superior quality)and also drinks.more lively at night(bars dont close at 12.00 midnight)the number six bus from outside the old town gates will take you there.i'ts a ten minute bus ride.after we had sussed out dubrovnik we had a great time.thanks to all the croatian people we met for making us so welcome.

Hello everyone,

I am getting married in Dubrovnik - April 2010. We already booked Neptun hotel's restaurant as a wedding ceremony location. We had lots of trouble finiding a place as a lot of the hotels will be closed that time and we cannot have an outdoor reception that early in the year... Anyone knows how this restaurant is? Pictures look nice but I don't really know if it is as nice as it looks...

An outdoor reception is always great in a wedding if the weather agrees.
Me and my wife was able to dine in that restaurant with her family, it was great. The reception, service and the food was good. Me and my family enjoyed dining at that place.
