The most important connection for Mljet island if travelling by car is the car ferry connecting the small port Prapratno on Pelješac peninsula with port Sobra on Island Mljet. Ferry deartures are several times per day in winter, even more often during summer.

If you are in Dubrovnik and plan to visit Island Mljet and the National Park you should take the high-speed line boat Nona Ana. During summer this line includes Korčula and Island Lastovo as well. If you have time both destinations are definitely worth a visit.
