How to arrive
By Air
The most practical and convenient way to reach Dubrovnik is by air. There are daily flights from Zagreb with Croatia Airlines, and weekly flights from many other European cities.
From Dubrovnik Airport (DBV)
The official airport shuttle runs after arriving flights and goes directly to Dubrovnik (Main Bus Station, with central stops on some runs). The ride usually takes about 30–40 minutes, and it’s the simplest low-cost option. Taxis and pre-booked transfers are also easy if you prefer door-to-door. In peak season, allow extra time for traffic.

By Car
Coming from central Europe, you can reach some of the coast destinations faster by car than by train. However, Dubrovnik is located at the very south of Croatia and not yet connected with the highway. During the summer months traffic at the borders is a bit heavier, and that can cause some delay.
