Hi,

Currently the bus from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo departs at 13,40 and 15,00 from the main bus terminal. Trip duration is ca. 6-7 hours, depending on traffic conditions. It is safe to visit Sarajevo and Bosnia and Hercegovina in general.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to travel from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo by bus/how long it takes and is it safe?

Open board / Getting Married in Dubrovnik

hello,

Im planning on getting married in Dubrovnik, Croatia in July 2011  . We are looking to have the wedding at te Dubrovnik Palace at the Vala Beach club.

Id be grateful for any tips/feedback from anyone who has had their wedding in Dubrovnik. In particular I am interested in where you had the ceremony i.e at the hotel or in the old town? The times of the ceremony and the events after...whether you had a band or a dj, and if so who and how much they cost, and what photographer you used. Also did you use a wedding planner over there or organise yourself.

Any thoughts, advice, recommendations would be very happily received.

Hello everyone...

We are a couple for Spain-Madrid and are looking for a new experience in Croatia... we would like to find ourselfs a summer job and bed deal... we do not need any special economic benefit but are looking to get a cheaper vacation and the oportunity to know the people and activities of the Dubrovnik people, therefore a summer job in tourims related or catering is a good idea...

We don't need to get paid but the best would be that our employer could find us a bed and breakfast instead for a half a day or 2/3 workday of a couple of people. We are fluent in English, Spanish and I in Norwegian/Swedish.

Do you have any ideas?

Yeah your right. Dubrovnik is an old place but if you will look at it using a plane or helicopter you will see that it is very nice but the beaches there is very crowded.

Last year I visited Croatia, and stayed for 7 Week's. I didn't cary cash because on previous visit's I found very convinient to use my debit card.Before my trip I deposited money in my bank account to be spent on my trip and dodn't have any problem to use ATM all along coast.One advantage was, they didn't carge me any commision for currency exchange.What card to use is usualy displayed on ATM.However I did cary some cash just in case I will be somwhere where was no ATM.Their Currency is Kuna (Kn) and current exchange rate is just about $1=5.4 Kh
Have a nice trip, and let us know how was it. I loved it.

It's a very late reply I have but I found out that this site which and needed for my vacation in dubrovnik and it is english language use here and it will be very helpful for me. I will be visiting the place early next month and looking for more information needed. Thanks, it really helps a lot.

I cant understand the language. Is there a site that are english so that I could be able to have more information of it because I'm interested of the place? Thanks.
